Whistler is growing. In the last six years the permanent population of Whistler has increased by 21 percent and during that time the number of visitors to has also steadily increased by hundreds of thousands.  To identify the best strategies and actions that address the transportation needs of a growing community, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) Council tasked the Transportation Advisory Group (TAG) with providing recommendations on the development of a Transportation Action Plan.

The Whistler Bike Valet is produced in partnership with  the Resort Municipality of Whistler and Whistler Blackcomb. It is one of the Community Transportation Initiatives designed to enhance transportation options in the community.
